Farm Safety

We strive to make our farm a safe and happy place for both our visitors and our animals. Please discuss these safety rules with the students and parents PRIOR to arriving at the farm. Then have fun …safely

1. Listen carefully to Farmer Kathy’s instructions

2. Children must be CLOSELY SUPERVISED by an adult at all times. “Unattended children will be given Expresso and a free kitten”

3. Always move slowly and QUIETLY around the animals. They do not like to be bullied or chased

4. Enjoy playing in the straw fort. Do not throw straw or open the straw bales

5. Never climb on fences or gates

6. A wash bucket will be provided when leaving the barn yard

7. There is no smoking on the farm. Leave all cell phones and electronic devices at home. Please designate one extra parent to take pictures for the class. All other parents are asked to reframe from taking pictures. Your children want you to play and interact with them today so they gain the most from this experience

8. Before leaving for home put all the playground toys and games away so it will be clean and tidy for the next little visitors

We make every effort to create a safe, yet realistic environment. We do not accept any responsibility for accidents. Our facility is used entirely at your own risk. When all safety rules have been discussed, please sign and date. Give to Farmer Kathy upon arrival.
